Mr. Asadullah Qanbari is a civil activist and human rights defender in Herat Province, Afghanistan. He has more than 5 years’ experiences of work with civil society in different positions. Asadullah Qanbari is the founder and member of Management Studies Organization (MSO) since its establishment in March-2019. He is the member of Advocacy Committee of Herat Female Managers’ Network (HFMN). He is the project Coordinator of Reintegration of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons by Improving Education, Employment Opportunities and Peace Education supported by BMZ.

He has worked as Education Coordinator for Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) and Supporting Organization for Afghanistan Civil Society (SOACS) to provide quality education for children and specially girls in remoted districts in Herat. As he passed a 10-months Course on Social Case Management by University of Utah of USA, he is working as social changing agent to advocacy for vulnerable people who especially girls and women who needs help and guidance.

As a member of Herat Civil Society Institution Network (HCSIN) is taking active part to strengthen democracy and combating corruption in local level. He also played an efficient role as human defender to give awareness and guidance for those in need.

As member of civil society took part in different meetings and press conference to rise our voice for advocacy of human rights and removing corruption in government.

Mr. Asadullah Qanbari holding Master degree in Business Administration from Assam Don Bosco University, India. He also has received a number of short training in a variety of issues related to peace building and peace education, human-rights, child protection, formal education, leadership, and public administration. Before his master studies he successfully completed his bachelor in Education in Herat University which was after his high-school studies in Mashhad- Iran.

Mr. Asadullah Qanbari started his professional career as a Principal of Public High School for more than 13 years in Herat- Afghanistan from 2002- 2015. He also worked as English profession Trainer for Female High School English Educators in Herat Education Department implemented by JRS and financially support by US Embassy in Kabul from 2016-2018.

Finally, as a civil activist and educated person worked as members of village council to manage our village social affairs and to implement developing project in our village and city.
