Mrs. Zhala Hakkak is a civil activist and women rights defender in Herat Province, Afghanistan. Zhala Hakkak is the founder and Deputy Director of Management Studies Organization (MSO) since its establishment in March-2019. She is Member of advisory board in Herat Female Managers’ Network (HFMN), she was the official member of Supporting Organization for Afghanistan Civil Society (SOACS) As a member of HFM network Mrs. Zhala Hakkak take active part in different meetings, holding workshops for members of HFM network and raised voice for advocacy for the women rights in removing gender discrimination. She also tried developing the network by cooperation of advisory board. Mrs. Zhala Hakkak holding master degree in Business and Education Administration from Assam Don Bosco University, India. She also has received a number of short training in a variety of issues related to human-rights, child protection, leadership, teaching methodology. She successfully completed her bachelor English literature in education faculty of Herat University which was after her high-school studies in Mahjuba Herawi high school in Herat Afghanistan. She also achieved one-year diploma on leadership from Institute of leadership development (ILD) Mrs. Zhala Hakkak started her professional career as a Teacher in Tawhid Private in 2010 and in 2013 after finishing the university and passing the teachers public exam she become an English teacher in Espina Ade High School Herat- Afghanistan. During her service, she taught computer and English subjects, and after proving her competence, she was appointed as the head of the English department. Also, she has been managed programs in Management Studies Organization as one of the founders and deputy Director since 2019.
